"The Garden" is a 32-page picture book that uses the garden as a metaphor to represent life and tells the story of a girl who builds a garden that is eventually passed on to the next generation. 

 

I try to use the addition and reduction of colors, as well as changes in tone, to show the garden’s evolution through the different life stages of the protagonist.
